Daniel Corrin - Mediator - Corrin Mediation - Vancouver, BC

A Mediator Who Understands Both Sides of the Table

Daniel F. Corrin spent 25 years as a courtroom trial lawyer in BC — arguing complex injury, insurance, and multi-party cases before the BC Supreme Court and Court of Appeal. He knows exactly how disputes escalate, what drives parties to dig in, and what it takes to find common ground.

Now he brings that insight to the mediation room. Daniel has completed advanced training at Pepperdine Caruso Law School, with the International Academy of Mediators (IAM) in Switzerland, and with Mediate BC. He serves clients across Vancouver, British Columbia, and Western Canada — in person or by video.

Daniel's approach is calm, structured, and deeply human. He listens carefully, identifies the interests behind each position, and guides parties toward outcomes they can actually live with.

Vancouver BC Mediator Serving All of British Columbia and Canada

Daniel is a Vancouver-based mediator helping individuals, counsel, and organizations resolve disputes efficiently — without the cost, stress, and uncertainty of trial. Drawing on 25 years as a courtroom trial lawyer in British Columbia, Daniel brings a rare combination of legal insight, strategic thinking, and deep empathy to every mediation he facilitates.

From the Courtroom to the Mediation Table

Daniel's transition to mediation was a natural evolution of a career spent understanding how and why conflict escalates — and how it ends. As a trial lawyer, he handled some of British Columbia's most complex litigation: catastrophic injuries, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, medical malpractice, and multi-party cases involving multiple counsel and layers of insurance. He secured many multi-million-dollar judgments, but more often helped clients reach hard-fought settlements after years of draining litigation.

Those decades of experience gave Daniel an intimate understanding of the pressures, risks, and dynamics that drive parties into — and ultimately out of — conflict. As a Vancouver mediator, he now uses those insights to help parties reach resolution before trial.
